Basic Tracking Course Snap Shot
Some footage taken during a Bush Lore Tracking and Observation course here at the Bush Lore Survival School.
On this particular course above and beyond the normal sensory skill development aspects of the training we also explored the use of some advanced technology that complements the Trackers skills.
In particular we played with a drone equipped with a camera that a rescue tracking team such as (QRAT - www.qrat.org) might employ to expand the search capability of the individual trackers. Nothing ultimately replaces the Tracker's skill in the bush and mastery of the art of tracking. The Queensland Remote Area Tracker (QRAT) team is supported in part by Bush Lore via training and personnel. -
